About PH McNally Associates Ltd.
PH McNally Associates Ltd. is a small, family-owned engineering office which has provided locally based consulting and drafting services in the Medicine Hat area since 1977.
We are a generalist firm. The bulk of our work is structural design, but we undertake smaller HVAC, plumbing, electrical, site drainage, and site utility design projects. Within the bounds of the relevant Codes & Standards, we also provide integrated building design for industrial and smaller commercial, and multi-family buildings.
In addition to design work, we provide structural inspections, property condition assessments, and reserve fund studies; and provide various construction administration services.

Our Tools
On top of the usual generic office software, we use several major pieces of specialty software.
- Revit Suite – we have the latest version, all disciplines, and are well versed in collaboration with other offices
- AutoCAD – we use this for the majority of smaller jobs and when a project is already drawn in CAD
- SketchUp – we use this for conceptual work
- Design Review – used for take-offs and markups
